VIII.1.1. THE PASSAGE BY WHICH SURVIVORS FLED

A MEDICAL LABORATORY IS ON ONE SIDE OF THE PASSAGE, A MEDICAL CENTER IS A FEW STEPS AWAY AND A SCULPTURE IS AT ITS CENTER

A sculpture and nature soften low cost architecture's aridity

Place Souham

The passage ends with a mosaic of the area's métro map:

A father points his tennis racket as he explains it to his son.

Across the street, this cheerful café

Le Père Fecto

  • Then an intersection, a kindergarten, recent greening and a fashion shoot

Intersection, rues Jean Coly and Château des Rentiers

"We love public school" "Maintain the freedom of school directors not to be saddled by extra tasks."

To the right, a little street closed for greening (in summer, 2025)

Turn right toward an old-time doorway and come upon a fashion shoot.

We come to the street
where Sérizier found refuge.
