A GIANT PARK REPLACES GAS PRODUCTION

The site for German dentistry during the Occupation, then a place where Parisians who had collaborated were held, sometimes wrongly...  



As so often in Paris, the sinister is almost unimaginable.



Two memorials do recall horrific behavior:


 
Left, to the Jewish children who were first forbidden from playing in the park, then deported. Right, to the Tutsi of Rwanda, whose massacre the French government could have stopped and did not (interpretation of that ambiguous article).
