A CHINESE FEAST ON AN UNLIKELY STREET

A TOWER OF THE ASIAN NEIGHBORHOOD APPEARS AT A DISTANCE, IN A NIGHTTIME CALM LIKE THAT OF A SMALL PROVINCIAL TOWN

As well, thanks to the excellent social services many residents are elderly or handicapped, and rarely dine out. Yet this restaurant has been here since 1986...

Asian music plays softly in the dark.

Prestigious recommendations:

Madame Figaro and Gault-Millau

Simon took up the family restaurant.

I saw these young men consult the menu and took the liberty of photographing them. On leaving, I showed them the picture and asked if they allowed including it when describing the restaurant.

In the course of our cheerful conversation they said that they were coming for the first time, because a friend who lived nearby had praised it.

Neighborhood appreciation
explains why it lasts.
