The mystery explained:
As I sat at the back of the room I saw these young men consult the menu and took the liberty of photographing them. On leaving, I showed it them the picture and asked if they allowed me to include it in a description of the restaurant.
In the course of our cheerful conversation, they said that they were coming for the first time, because a friend who lived in the neighborhood's high praise.
