PLANNING LATIN QUARTER BOMBARDMENT HAS HAPPY RESULTS

Today the cleared space brings a panorama...

The hospital gone, the Panthéon is within cannon shot.

And the rebuilt hospital is an architectural gem:

Here too, preparing repression led to beauty.

Then the garden was closed in 2023
to everyone not connected to the hospital. 
At least it was not made into a luxury hotel,
as was rumored for a time.
